1.   WAIT IN THE DESIGNATED FACEBOOK GROUP.  A few minutes before the start of the class, you login to your Facebook account or to your parent/guardian’s Facebook account and go to the designated Facebook group for your class. Wait for Facebook’s notification of the start of the Facebook Live. Make sure you are already a member of the Facebook group before the class starts.

2.   LOGIN FOR ATTENDANCE.  Go to Prodigydevcenter.com to login your attendance. Go to your Dashboard and click the Attendance button on the top right. Refer to the procedures within the FAQ page on how to do your attendance.

3.   WATCH AND LISTEN THE LECTURE VIA FB LIVE. At the designated time of your class, when you receive the Facebook notification of the start of the FB live, refresh the page then watch and listen to the lecture.  No unnecessary comments in the Comment section. No bullying.

4.   ANSWER AS INSTRUCTED THE QUIZZES, IXL ACTIVITIES OR INTERACTIVE LIVE QUIZ during the class period. When doing IXL activities, answer first what is assigned for the day before answering other topics of your choice.

QUIZZES – are taken live at prodigydevcenter.com. Make sure you have the username and password. The assigned quizzes to take for the day is shown during the lecture, in the FB group post, and in the Quiz section of the Welcome page. As you take the quiz, you will know your rank in relation to the whole class by looking at the RANK button on the right. There is also the live QUIZ LEADERBOARD of Top 12 scorers as you answer the exam. You may click the Trophy icon at the bottom right of the Quiz page or you may go to the Welcome page and click the QUIZ LEADERBOARD button to go to the leaderboard page. The leaderboard is live and it changes every few seconds while the exam is going on.

IXL ACTIVITIES – are taken at ixl.com. Make sure you have the username and password for this. Access to this site is given within 3 days from start of class. The assignment is given during the live lecture, in the FB group post, and in the SKILL BUILDING ACTIVITY section of the Welcome page. You need to get 100 Smart Score on all the items after which you need to click DONE in the dashboard for all the IXL skills done so that you can be recorded as FINISHERS. Do not click DONE if you are not finished with the skills yet as we can see the progress of all students. Do not cheat. What is important is that you finish the activities no matter how long the time.  We are after for learning here.  Top students usually finish the activities fast. To know the Top Finishers, just go to the Welcome page and click the ACTIVITY LEADERBOARD.

INTERACTIVE LIVE QUIZ – taken at prodigydevcenter.com. This is a one question quiz given to determine understanding of the student of the current topic being discussed.  This is a live quiz and whoever got the correct answer first will be the top scorer.   The INTERACTIVE LIVE QUIZZES and top scorers can be viewed in the Question List page.

PRACTICE TESTS – these are quizzes that you have finished taking in prodigydevcenter.com and are recreated for you to do unlimited practice to ensure proficiency and understanding.  These tests can be found in your Practice Tests menu or in the Dashboard a few days after you took the exam.  The quiz gives you the correct answer every time you give a wrong answer.  This is in lieu of giving out answer keys to all our Prodigy exams.

5.   WATCH CLOSING LECTURE.  After answering the quizzes, activities or interactive quizzes, watch again the closing lecture in Facebook for the quiz results, assignments and announcements.

6.   LOGOUT IN YOUR ATTENDANCE. Go to your Dashboard and tap the LEAVE CLASS button.

7.   CONTINUE ANSWERING QUIZZES AFTER CLASS.  You may continue your review and study by practicing in IXL.com at your preferred time. You can choose any topic you want in IXL.

8.   PREPARE for the next session.

9.   If you have questions, always chat/PM at Prodigydevcenter Facebook page.

10.  If you listen to the discussion, do all the assigned tasks and do extra study in IXL, you are guaranteed to learn a lot in the Prodigy class and even pass the Philippine Science High School NCE.

Before the start of the online class, you need to have your attendance recorded for our reference and for easy follow-up of missed quizzes and activities.

1. Go to prodigydevcenter.com and login.

2. At Welcome page, click the Dashboard button on the lower left or in the menu.

3. At the Dashboard, click the ATTENDANCE button on the top right.

4. After clicking the Attendance button, the PRESENT popup displays to inform you of the time you logged in for class.

5. When you want to leave the class or after you are done doing something on the site, you click LEAVE CLASS button to log out.

6. After clicking the LEAVE CLASS button, the YOU LEFT THE CLASS popup displays to inform you of the time you logged out from class.

2.  Login using the username and password given to you. This is different from the ixl.com password.  If you don’t have it, chat/PM Prodigydevcenter Facebook page.

3.  After logging in, the Welcome page displays.

4. At the Welcome page, scroll down below to the Quiz section and click the Exam assigned for the day,

5. Once the exam link is clicked, the exam module displays.

6. As you take the exam, the score and rank is updated live on right side buttons. Then, once you finish the exam, a Congratulations popup appears.

7. You may check who are the Top 12 scorers by clicking on the Trophy icon on the lower right side or by visiting the Quiz Leaderboard.

3.   After logging in, the Welcome page displays. Click the Interactive Live Quizzes button.

4.   The Question List displays. Wait for the assigned quiz to be active and click the exam and answer.

5. The Interactive Quiz module displays. Answer the question as fast as you can. You are given 1 attempt to submit the correct answer.

6. As you take the exam, the score and rank are updated live on right side buttons. You can check in the Question List page also who got the correct answers.

2. Once you are logged in (you will see your name on the upper right side), click Learning menu.

3. Click on the subject assigned.

4. Go the specified Grade Level and the skills button.

5. Find the specific skills assigned. For example, Math Grade 5 – A.9, K.7, K.15.

6. Answer the exam. Make sure to get a 100 Smart score. This is a proficiency exam. The deduction for wrong answers is not just one point but maybe from 5 to 15 points. So read the explanation when you commit a wrong answer to avoid repeating the same mistakes again.

7. If you commit a wrong answer, an explanation will be shown for you to study and learn. Make sure to read it. You may take a picture of the answer and explanation for your reference.

8. Make sure to get 100 Smart Score on all assigned skills before declaring DONE on the activity for the day.

9. Check the Analytics to know your progress.

10. When you are done with all the assigned Skills for the day, meaning, you have score 100 Smart Scores on ALL the assigned topics, you can now post DONE in the dashboard by going to prodigydevcenter.com Welcome page and click the DASHBOARD button.

11. Go to the Dashboard and click the Skill Building Activity menu.

12. Find the Activity for the day and click DONE all the items you have 100 Smart Scores.

13. Once the DONE button is tapped, you will be prompted to confirm if you really are done with the item. Click YES if you are done.

14. If you have all the items done, the system prompts you that you are awesome for a job well done.

2. At Welcome page and click the DASHBOARD button.

3. Once in the Dashboard, click the Skill Building Activity menu.

4. Find the Activity for the day and click UNDONE button for all the items you have 100 Smart Scores.

5. Once the UNDONE button is tapped, you will be prompted to confirm if you really are done with the item. Click YES if you are done. The button now becomes DONE.

6. If you have tapped all the items done, the system prompts you that you are awesome for a job well done.

1. Students solve quizzes in ixl.com anytime anywhere until 11:59 pm July 9, 2020 (June-July Batch deadline). Only the student must answer the exams in IXL.

2. Subjects and Grade levels included for the competition are as follows:

Coverage:    Math, Science and Language Arts Subjects
Grade Levels:    Grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry
Quizzes solved not covered above are excluded from the computation.

3. Only quizzes with a 100 Smart Score on the subjects and grade levels covered are included in the computation using the following Point System:

Grade 3 ———– 100 x 1.0 ——- 100 points
Grade 4 ———– 100 x 1.5 ——- 150 points
Grade 5 ———– 100 x 2.0 ——- 200 points
Grade 6 ———– 100 x 2.5 ——- 250 points
Grade 7 ———– 100 x 3.0 ——- 300 points
Grade 8 ———– 100 x 3.0 ——- 300 points
Algebra 1——— 100 x 3.0 ——- 300 points
Algebra 2 ——– 100 x 3.0 ——- 300 points
Geometry ——–100 x 3.0 ——- 300 points

Smart scores of 100 in other grade levels not covered above are not considered for computation.

4. Based on the points system above, the top scorers will be given the following awards:

Triple Gold Medals ———– 120,000 points or more
Double Gold Medals ——— 90,000 points – 119,999 points
Gold Medal ———————- 60,000 points – 89,999 points

Bronze Medal —————— 20,000 points – 39,999 points

5. Three (3) trophies are at stake for this June-July 2020 competition. Depending on the scores, a 4th trophy may be given.

6. Awarding of trophies and medals will be given in an awarding ceremony to be announced later when the holding of the event will be safe for everyone.

Just refresh or reload the page of the Quiz.  Your previous answers are not lost. The quiz will resume to the last question you answered.

Check on the date boxes on the top left side. Make sure that it includes the current date or the date range covers the whole class period.

Make sure you are “logged in” in prodigydevcenter.com.  The quiz requires the user to “log in” in order to take the exam.

Go the Quiz Leaderboard  or click the Trophy icon at the bottom right of the quiz page.

Go the Activity Leaderboard to know who are top finishers of the IXL activities.

Go the Question List page and click the Correct Answers column to view the list of Top Scorers on a specific question.

You can check your Dashboard for the analytics of your scores. Just choose the Date range you want.
